Plant City Equine Rescue is now offering boarding and overnight stays. The boarded horses will have their own stalls, pastures, etc away from the rescue horses. We've decided to offer boarding to help fund our rescue efforts.

The only type of boarding we are offering is "full board" and the cost is $325.00 per month. This fee will cover the cost of our complete 10 pelleted feed (twice a day), T&A hay (twice a day), stall shavings, a stall from 5pm to 8 am, pasture from 8 am to 5 pm and daily showers when it is hot. Our facility has automatic waters to all the stalls, paddocks & pastures as well as feed/hay bins. We also have a riding arena. There is also a vet who lives on the premises. No emergency fees will be charged. Simple normal business hour costs for any treatments needed while staying here.

We would like for all horses to have current coggins/shots. If you don't, we can get you a current coggins, health certificate & shots at our location. coggins, for a fee, can be back within 24-48 hours.

For overnight stays (locals who need to go out of town are more than welcome too), the fees are as follows:

For the first horse, the fee will be $25.
For the second horse, the fee will be $15.
For the third horse & each additional horse, the fee will be $10.
These fees are for those staying on site with their horses. Fees do include hay & feed and hooking up to our electric & water.

Fees for locals going out of town are as follows:
First horse:      $15/night
Second horse:   $10/night
Third & after:    $7/night.

We offer clean, safe & large box stalls with private new three board fence. Included are hay, grain, all stall bedding, stall cleaning, providing of water/feed buckets, help with loading/unloading, blanketing, extra night checks and live on site & very stress free environment.

A veterinarian servicing large animals lives on site. with advance notice, we can set up vet checks if needed or massages for horses while they rest at the barn.

All stalls have electrical hookup and water is available for trailer parking next to the barn.

We are located within 15 minutes of the Tampa Fairgrounds. We are 20 minutes from the intersection of Interstates 4 & 75 heading east.

There are restaurants conveniently located near us. These would include Outback, Buddy Freddy's, Applebee's, Waffle House, Sonny's, McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell & Arby's. These are all within 15 minutes of where we are located.

You will also find the following conveniently located near us: Publix, Dollar General, Super Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, Pet Smart, Tractor Supply, local feed shops, co-ops. Auto trailer service repair shop, easy access to gas & diesel on your way in from and out to the interstates. I am willing to pickup the "basic" supplies for you to help save time, with advance notice..

We offer VERY generous discounts to horses from rescues or traveling to rescues.

I will gladly help update client horses that are traveling with you by emailing them pictures of their horse(s). Little added touch to comfort them while their horse is traveling I'm sure the owners will appreciate.
