"Candy"
This is Candy, one of our retirement horses. She was just recently adopted to a woman who used to care for Candy at the stable which we bought her from. candy was emaciated when we bought her and had been in foster care until now. Our foster home had started the slow weight gain process and felt that she was stable enough to be adopted by an experienced horse person. This woman who adopted her was SHOCKED at Candy's condition of skin and bones. She said that Candy used to be a stocky stout mare! She's looking for Candy old pics and plans to send them to us. This woman had NO idea this was THE Candy that she used to care for a few years back. Once she realized this was the same horse, she was THRILLED to have her.

"Bandit"
Bandit went to a 12 year old in Tampa as her first horse. We really feel like this is a perfect match and she'll have Bandit for quite some time. The excitement she had on her face when Bandit came off the trailer was priceless.
Update
I start my days out with Bandit by giving him a nice bath in the morning. Bandit really enjoys it. Then I let him graze. He loves grass! Sometimes, I have to soak his feet because he has White Line disease but is not affecting Bandit much. He likes to RUN. Right now, we are doing Hunt seat and we are jumping about 2 feet. Bandit really likes jumping, so I want to raise the jump on him. He doesn't like western too much. He prefers English. Bandit enjoys being ridden. Whenever I take out his halter, he's always nickering! I love my boy. I made the right decision adopting him. He's so amazing! I knew when I adopted him that I could turn him into a very good hunter. He's AMAZING! Personally, I think he's a 10 mover! Thank you so much Shelly!!
"Gus" and "Starway's Revenue"
Gus and Starway went to a nice family in South Carolina. They drove all the way here to ride these horses and spend hours with them. They fell in love and decided to take them both home.
Good news! Instead of putting Big John through a painful surgery to "maybe" fix his problem, we've found the perfect family for him. They are so excited and just picked him up. They have renamed him Mr. Mocho and are tickled to have him, stifle problem and all. We're happy about this match!

They've found that Gambling Gal has adapted to the polo field like a pro. If by some chance she doesn't do well with polo, Shannon will trail ride and jump Gambling Gal. They both plan to use her which shall keep her job fun.
