"PEPSI COLA"

Pepsi was a national champion in her day but is over 25 years old now. She was sold with a lot of horses very cheap because they were in such bad shape. We got rid of her rain rot, put some weight on her & she is beautiful inside and out. Pepsi is now helping another 10 yr old with her confidence and is in 4H classes. It's going great!!

"UNCLE MAX"

Uncle Max.... He was a "junk yard dog" who was beat and made to smoke crack the first two years of his life! He is a Colby Pitt bull and now a member of our family. We have had him in excess of 6 years and has recently developed kidney problems. He is VERY afraid of men but awesome with women and children. I trust him perfectly around my family, but do not trust him enough to adopt him out. First off, he cannot be contained. He is Houdini. lol But, that's OK, he listens well and is great protection. Around the beginning of August, Uncle Max had wandered off. It's very strange. We're not sure if he wandered off to die or if he was taken hostage. Just not the same without him. We MISS him deeply!!

"NANEE"

NaNee now belongs to Denise and is keeping her 2 older horses company. She is also providing "therapy" to Denise's mentally handicapped brother.

"LOUIE"

Louie has a terrific new home with Megan in Leesburg, Fl. She is using him as a party pony. He is spoiled rotten at grandma and grandpa's house when he isn't visiting kids.

"SAM"

Sam was first bought by a rodeo clown as a colt. Right before he passed away 2 years later, he sold him to his best friend. The friend held on to him for 3 years (but Sam had "his number" and would buck him off once in a while) then sold him to a horse traider, hoping he'd find a "cowboy" home. Well, that was in N.C. and I bought him out of an auction house in Florida. He is a gentleman on the ground... such a sweetie. Will duck his head to load in a small trailer. Sam now has a new home with a vet chiropractor, who also rehabilitates "fried" barrel horses! Another perfect match!

"BLUE"

Blue (now known as "Bella") was adopted by a local Plant City couple (along with Lucy) and is doing AWESOME! She has gained approx. 125 lbs. Bella and her new owner are becoming more trusting of each other with each passing day. She's still polite, courteous and obedient on the ground and does anything you ask of her. With her new home, Bella has a new enthusiasm for life. As you can tell, Bella has bonded with her new owner perfectly. We here at PCER are ecstatic that She has a forever home & that this is a PERFECT match! Thank you Laurie & Mattie for opening your home and as well for the update.

"SAM"

Sam was adopted by a family with two small children under age 10. He has a LOT of pasture, a perfect home for he & the children. We hope to get the chance to have him back again once the children grow into their next horse! Thanks Rusty Plumbing :)

"LUCY"

Lucy is another cart pony that Mattie & Laurie have at their farm. It has taken her a while but nowadays she is becoming more of a part of the family. She comes when she is called and gets along very well with their mare, Sassy. They can be found together in a stall napping. Sassy has NEVER allowed anyone in her space. As you can tell Lucy has found a forever friend in Sassy as well as a forever home with Mattie, Laurie and Bella. From all of us here at PCER, THANK YOU both very much!!

"Aunt Bea"

Aunt Bea has been adopted to a family of dedicated owners. She now gets to roam around on a farm with lots of pasture land and a wonderful barn while babysitting a 38 year old mare. We wish the best of luck to Aunt Bea and her new home. Congratulations Aunt Bea!

"Rags"

Rags was adopted by the same teenager who adopted another one of our horses named, Ellie. We were hoping to keep those two together and now they are! She had gotten Ellie home and did so well with her, that her parents felt comfortable letting her get her little stallion companion Rags.

"Molly"

Molly went to a local home in Wimauma. She will be ridden lightly (walk trot) on trails by young children. We believe she has found the perfect "forever" home. We'll keep you posted on her progress.

Update

We are happy to report that Molly is doing great. She has taken a great liking to eating popsicles, trail rides, and has an obsession with water. On hot days, when filling the water trough, she will stand there until you pray her down. She loves to splash people with water as well, especially if you are standing anywhere near that water trough. She does so around creeks while trail riding. Ariel and Molly have bonded so well that she wouldn't give her up for anything. Molly has found her forever home and we wish them both the best of luck and happiness.

"Doc"

Doc was adopted by an experienced Paso woman. Amazing how some horses just "click" with certain people! He was calm and controllable for her. Unlike the wild rides he tended to take us on. We feel great about this match. These days Doc and his new owner trail ride all over the place. His still dislikes an arena, but everyone is getting along great.

"Miss Half Key"

Miss Half Key went home with a mother of a teenager who barrel races. Mom wanted a horse she could safely compete with if she chose to, but also wanted a bomb proof trail horse. This family is SO excited about Miss Half Key.

"Ava"

Ava has been adopted out to a wonderful beginner rider. Ava was traded for this lady's first horse (an older Paint named Molly, who was just adopted as well) because Molly had some injuries and such. Ava is now in a good home and doing great as well as having fun with her new family.

"502"

502 went to a young woman who is a cancer survivor. She thought she was unable to afford a horse like 502, until she found US! She was SO excited about our finance program with easy terms that she adopted him that first day she rode him. She was even MORE excited when she left with him a week later! She and her husband did a lot of work to get his pasture ready. We feel quite comfortable with this match up. 502 was gaining weight, feeling good and looking awesome. We can't wait to see pictures of him this time next year once he matures. Stay tuned :)

Dakota

A young man, aged 13, who has a 4H leader for a mother & an experienced horseman for a father is adopting Dakota. The parents wanted to give their son a project that they can all work on together. On the right is an updated picture of Dakota. Such a beautiful horse and looks fantastic!

580

580 went to a great home with a set of grandparents who adopted their grandchildren. They both ride and wanted a small horse that the girls could ride, as well an adult if they so chose to. He now resides in the St. Pete area.
